James Brown worked on the NME, founded loaded, and was Editor-in-Chief of British GQ. He is a media entrepreneur, journalist and radio host. He took over as Editor-in-Chief of FourFourTwo in March this year, after a break of almost 20 years since his last full-time editing role. His debut book Above Head Height: A Five-a-Side Life, was published in 2017 by Quercus, and achieved positive reviews in the Guardian, The Australian and The Daily Telegraph. He is now down to three matches a week.
