Nikoleta has worked for ten years in the Serbian media and global advertising agencies Publicis and Saatchi & Saatchi.
In 2009, believing in the power of social enterprise, solidarity and magazines, Nikoleta co-founded Belgrade’s Liceulice (English translation: face-to-face). The magazine is sold by those who have been pushed to the margins of society as a means to earn an income and change their lives.
This year, the group launched a new magazine BLO (Belgrade Less Ordinary), a socially responsible guide to the city.
Nikoleta is a devoted activist, and passionate advocate for the street paper model. In June 2019 she was elected to the board of INSP (the International Network of Street Papers) by street paper colleagues from around the world, with a vision to make street papers more sustainable, visible and influential.
