Magfest will return to CENTRAL HALL, EDINBURGH in 2019

Central Hall is fully accessible by all major transport links. Below are some directions via the most popular transport routes.

Central Hall is a 15 minute walk from Edinburgh Haymarket Station, or a 15 minute bus ride from Edinburgh Waverley Station.

Tollcross is well served by a number of Lothian Bus services. Lothian Buses 10, 11, 15 and 16 can be boarded from Princes Street, city centre. Lothian Buses 23 and 27 can be boarded from Hanover Street, city centre. All stop within 2 minutes of Central Hall.

The major roads, M8, A702, A1 and A90, all serve Edinburgh. We recommend parking at the Castle Terrace Car Park, which is a ten minute walk from Central Hall.

All major UK airports fly to Edinburgh Airport. To reach Central Hall on arrival, you are best to take a taxi from outside the terminal building into the City Centre (approx. 20 minute journey). Many will know the venue by name or you can ask for ‘West Tollcross’ opposite the ‘CAV club’ where the venue is located. Alternatively, there are frequent services to Edinburgh City Centre served by the Airlink 100 Bus and the tram, get off on Shandwick Place and walk up Lothian Road past Costa and Tesco on your right, take the next right onto West Tollcross and find the Central Hall entrance immediately on your right.
